Canada’s Food Guide (CFG) is made up of many different components. One such component, and the most commonly seen element is the CFG Plate, that shows various foods on a plate separated into three categories of foods. While this plate may feature familiar foods, it doesn’t look anything like the way that we eat.
The Canada’s Food Guide in Action video applies the concepts of the CFG Plate to make everyday meals. The video breaks down the complex guide to show how vegetables and fruits, protein foods, and whole grain foods can be combined to create simple meals.
