💡 Big Idea

The lesson helps students explore the importance of variety using visual graphs to see how different foods support their health.

📊 About the Nutrient Graphs

The nutrient graphs are bright, colourful cards that help students visualize and compare nutrients in different foods. Created by Registered Dietitians using reliable Canadian data, these graphs use a 0–50% daily value scale to help students compare foods and understand their nutritional benefits at a glance.

📝 Lesson Prep
Gather the nutrient graph cards, then preview the Lesson 2 Slide Deck and embedded chef-led videos. Select one or both recipes based on class time, available ingredients, and students’ cooking skills.
