Enjoy Your Food: Grades 7–9
Lesson 3 of A Guided Discovery of Canada’s Food Guide invites students to reflect on the deeper meaning of enjoying food. Drawing on Canada’s Food Guide recommendations, the lesson encourages grades 7 to 9 students to consider how taste, culture, lifestyle, and budget all play a role in shaping mealtime satisfaction. They’ll explore personal and cultural food traditions, and apply their learning by analyzing a sample recipe through the lens of enjoyment.
