Sharing Food Stories Series 4: Our Food Stories
📚 Grades 2–6 | Language Arts • Health & Wellness • Social Studies
Invite students to share and celebrate the foods, memories, and traditions that help shape who they are.
This fourth series in the Sharing Food Stories program encourages students to explore their own food stories—what they love to eat, who they share meals with, and how food connects to culture, family, and identity.
Through storytelling, interviews, and creative classroom activities, students reflect on how food builds connection and belonging.
Built for Grades 2–6 and aligned with curriculum, these lessons help students:
- 🍲 Express personal experiences and traditions through storytelling
- 💛 Develop empathy and appreciation for others’ food stories
- 📖 Strengthen communication and reflection skills through writing and discussion
