Food: A Source of Energy for the Human Body
This short, ✨free✨, low-prep resource is designed for teachers working with elementary students. A 2-minute video helps students explore food through the five senses and discover how food provides energy to learn, play, and grow. To reinforce concepts from the video, students can complete a Knowledge Check available in two formats: a printable PDF or a ready-to-use quiz in Kahoot or Blooket.

After watching the video, students can complete a short Knowledge Check to review what they’ve learned. Choose the format that works best for your classroom:
- Print version –📥 Download and photocopy one per student. Found on page 3 of the teacher guide.
- Digital quiz –👉 Click the platform name to access the ready-to-use quiz: Kahoot or Blooket. Log in to host or assign it for individual or whole-class play.
ℹ️ The Blooket quiz also includes questions from the Hydration: Essential for the Human Body video, so we recommend watching that video beforehand for best results.
